Draft for review, 7 Nov 2026. Not yet reviewed by Legal. Not in force.

Your family's letters and numbers are yours. Here is what we do with them, in plain words.

What we collect

Your email. The award letters you upload. The numbers we read from them. The answers you give us (household size, state, housing plans). Nothing from your student's school records unless you upload it.

What we do with it

Read the letters, do the math, draft letters for you to send, and remind you about deadlines. When a number is unclear, a reviewer bound by a confidentiality agreement looks at that part of the letter.

What we never do

Sell your information. Share it with lenders, colleges or marketers. Send you loan offers. Contact a college on your behalf.

Your student

The parent or guardian holds the account. We ask for the student's first name and graduation year only. Black out the student ID before you upload if you prefer; we do not need it.

Keeping it

We keep your letters while you use the service and for a short period after, then delete them. You can download everything or delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting removes the letters and the numbers we read from them.

Security

Letters and personal fields are encrypted at rest. Access is logged. We are a small team; we will say so plainly if anything goes wrong.

Children

The service is for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
